spirkzCreator program
Teach one thing.Sixty seconds at a time.
spirkz is a short-video app where every video has to teach something. We're opening it to the people who are good at that — teachers, researchers, makers, anyone who can explain one idea clearly and make you want the next one.
Takes about two minutes. You don't need a spirkz account to apply.

Why here
What you get that a general feed can't give you
An audience that came to learn
Nobody opens spirkz to kill time. Every person scrolling past your video picked the topic it sits in, so you are never competing with a prank compilation for the same slot.
Paid for depth, not just reach
The creator fund weighs how many people finished your lesson, not how many thumbs skimmed it. A small, attentive audience is worth something here.
Your work stays yours
You keep the rights to everything you publish. Post it elsewhere, take it down, build a course out of it later — it's your material.
Tools built for teaching
Captions, chapters and end-of-video quizzes are part of the editor, not something you bolt on afterwards. Analytics tell you which explanation actually landed.
How it works
Three steps, and a real person at the end of them
- 1
Send the form
Your name, how to reach you, and a few lines about what you'd teach. That's the whole application — no showreel, no follower count, no account required.
- 2
We read it
Every application is reviewed by hand, oldest first. We look at what you want to teach and whether it fits a topic, not at how big you already are.
- 3
You start publishing
If it's a fit we'll write back with creator access, the format guidelines and someone to ask questions. First video usually goes up the same week.

Tell us what you'd teach
Everything below goes straight to the team. We reply to every application, including the ones we can't take right now.

Before you apply
- Do I need a spirkz account first?
- No. The form is open to anyone — that's the point of it. If you already have an account, tell us the username so we can link things up; if you don't, we'll sort that out when we write back.
- Do I need an audience already?
- No. We're reading what you want to teach, not your follower count. Plenty of the people we want on spirkz have never posted a video anywhere.
- What actually counts as a spirkz video?
- One finished idea, under sixty seconds, in one of the twelve topics. Someone who watches it to the end should be able to say what they just learned. Anything that only works as a cliffhanger for the next video isn't it.
- How do creators get paid?
- Through the creator fund, which is weighted by completion rather than raw views. We'll walk you through the current rates when we accept you — they change as the app grows and we'd rather quote you real numbers than a promise.
- How long does a reply take?
- Applications are reviewed by hand, oldest first, so it's usually a few days rather than a few minutes. If you haven't heard back in two weeks, send it again — it's more likely we lost it than that we ignored it.
