3,000+ downloads.
45 days.
A different way to scroll.
Spirkz is building an educational TikTok alternative for people who want their next scroll to lead to something worth learning.
Every day, we open our phones looking for something interesting. A fresh idea. A story. A moment that catches our attention. Spirkz begins with a simple possibility: that moment could also teach us something.
With more than 3,000 downloads in just 45 days, Spirkz has reached an exciting early milestone. What began as an idea for a more educational feed is becoming a place where learners and creators can explore knowledge together.
The number is encouraging. The purpose behind it matters even more: making educational content easier to discover, easier to start and easier to fit into everyday life.
What if education had its own short-video feed?
Short videos make it easy to encounter something unexpected. You do not always need to know what to search for. Sometimes a useful explanation finds you before you have thought to ask the question.
Spirkz brings that experience to education. Open the app, explore short educational videos and follow your curiosity across science, technology, history, business and practical skills.
It is the familiar simplicity of a short-video app, with learning at the centre of the experience.
Your next scroll could introduce you to your next interest.
A TikTok alternative built around education
People sometimes describe Spirkz as “TikTok for education.” It is a useful starting point: short videos, a familiar feed and ideas you can discover in a few spare minutes.
But our ambition goes beyond the format. We want Spirkz to become a leading ed-tech platform for everyday discovery, where a video can lead to a conversation, a course or something you decide to practise yourself.
That means building connections between the first moment of curiosity and the next step in learning.
A short explanation introduces a topic you had never explored.
Join a conversation, share your perspective or explore a thread.
Explore a course and make time to put what you learn into practice.
More than individual videos
Short educational videos
Discover explanations, demonstrations and fresh perspectives without needing to begin with a long lesson.
Courses for further exploration
When a subject catches your attention, courses offer a way to move beyond a single clip.
Threads and conversations
Share an idea, ask a question and connect with people who are curious about the same subjects.
A place to share your knowledge
Creators can publish educational videos and courses, giving their expertise a home built around learning.
Small moments can be a starting point
Not every day leaves room for a full study session. Sometimes you have a coffee break, a quiet moment between tasks or a few minutes before your next appointment.
A short video can introduce one useful idea in that time. It might help you understand a concept, revisit something you already know or find a subject you want to explore.
Short videos are an introduction, not a shortcut to expertise. Deeper understanding still takes focused study, reliable resources and hands-on practice.
For creators with something worth teaching
If you enjoy explaining how things work, Spirkz gives you a place to share that enthusiasm. You might be an educator, a professional, a student or someone who has spent years developing a particular skill.
Share a clear explanation. Demonstrate a useful technique. Publish a course that helps someone take their next step. Start a conversation around a question that deserves attention.
Your knowledge deserves an audience that wants to learn.
Built in Malta, with a wider ambition
We are building Spirkz from Malta with a goal that reaches beyond any single location: making educational discovery feel like a natural part of everyday digital life.
Reaching 3,000+ downloads in 45 days is a milestone worth celebrating. It is also a beginning. Our focus now is on improving the experience, welcoming educational creators and helping people find content worth returning to.
Short videos. Real knowledge. A more curious everyday life.
To everyone who has downloaded Spirkz, shared feedback or introduced it to a friend: thank you for being part of this early chapter.
